This is the new revised version of the Black Magic book. It hasn't changed much as altogether this is only a two or three day brief, but it has a more complementing layout for the photos. I have added more double page spreads in to showcase the pictures. I have also taken some of the worse pictures out, this has given it a better feel I think.

Black Magic - Poster
Another quick poster for Paul Phung. This is incorporated with the front cover of the book. The kind of dark feel to it is what is conveyed through the book.

Black Magic - Book Layout 3
The images that are smaller are images that Paul said he thinks would work better smaller, all the others are the same size, different layout. I think this works better than the first and second as there is still variation bu they layout is solid.
Black Magic - Book Layout 2
More of an experimental layout, I have used different sizes, off set images and images bleeding off the side. I like the look of it but also think that for a photography book, it is maybe a little pointless. I think maybe having a look at different sized images will work, but putting them in different places may not work for a photography book.
Black Magic - Posters
These are the poster ideas to go with the book. I feel that the more grainy and aery ones work better than the full figure ones. The ones with half a figure or a blurred figure work really well to go with the theme. I like the last one with the different layout but don't think that it works as well as the full bleed ones.
Black Magic - Book Layout
So this is the initial layout of the book. I have done it A3 size so that the book is A4, I feel this would show off his photographs more. I have kept the layouts simple, not changing many sizes so that it won't interfere with this photography. The type on the front is pretty dark and gothic, to go with the cover/content. I think it works really nicely and seeing a printed out version would be lovely to look at. After all, it is a photography book.
